Throughout my career I have used brochures to introduce courses, assignments, and a myriad of other uses. I have created tri-fold, single-sheet, and multi-page documents describing all types of events and information. One f the most useful while not exactly a brochure are "How To" Sheets. As a Technology Coach these were often used as handouts during training but were also posted/distributed in digital format as reference guides for teachers who needed support and were comfortable working on their own. The first example below was designed to familiarize teachers with an open source word processing program their students used in our 1:1 computing environment. The second was a handout for teachers who wanted to access archived PD webinars through ElluminateLive and was used as part of the Web 2.0 Workshop conducted in 2011.

During my tenure as the Technology Instructional Coach for the Franklin Area School District I sent a weekly eNewsletter to the teachers with whom I worked. Below are three selected documents from the many that were sent. I have included the very first, one from the middle, and the last. Early on only the teachers in the high school were served as part of the Enhancing Education Through Technology grant. That expanded to include the middle school toward the end of the first year. By the time the second year was in full swing all teachers K-12 were included.

In the second year of my tenure I also began sending a monthly newsletter to recap or point out items of interest. From time to time I would send a special email to a group of teachers if items were time sensitive. Below are two examples.
